Sol on Park is a new, 15-story, wellness-centered building located on the Morris Houses campus, comprised of 229 deeply affordable residences for seniors age 62+ as well as community health, education, and career-training facilities available to residents and the community-at-large. The development is a collaboration between NYCHA, HPD, and HDC, and the development team, a partnership of The NRP Group, Selfhelp Realty Group, and Foxy Management, which was selected in 2022 as part of the “Seniors First” competitive RFP process.
The project is comprised of 229 studio and 1-bedroom deeply affordable residences for seniors age 62+ with income limits up to 50% of AMI as well as a homeless set-side of 30% of units. It features a 10,000 sf pedestrian plaza and 12,000 sf of community health, education, and career-training facilities available to residents and the community-at-large including a federally-qualified “anchor” health center.
