Aqeel Brown joined The NRP Group in 2021 as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, responsible for collaborating, advising and challenging senior level clients with strategic business decision in regards to their current and future workforce needs.

Responsible for driving organizational effectiveness and providing data driven insights to align HR methodology with strategic business needs, Brown manages HR projects to promote a culture of development and engagement to help retain A+ talent. He is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council under the Education, Awareness and Engagement pillar, helping to create and lead programming to facilitate understanding among employees and support Employee Resource Groups.

Prior to joining NRP, Brown served as a Human Resource Business Partner at KeyBank, acting as a strategic business partner to senior clients to understand organization’s business strategies and align human resource strategy and programs to achieve goals. He was a champion of DE&I efforts and was on the leadership committee for several ERG’s and the committee chair for professional development.

Brown earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Cleveland State University.
