Chris O'Neill joined The NRP Group in 2022 as the Executive Vice President of Development based in Houston, Texas, and is responsible for NRP’s market rate development activity in the Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada markets.

O’Neill brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Prior to joining NRP, O’Neill had been with Hines for 16 years. As Managing Director he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Hines’ suburban multifamily platform across the US Southwest. Previous to Hines, Chris worked with Clark Construction and JPI before engaging the development side of the industry. His well-rounded perspective makes him a strong multifamily professional.

Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated a commitment to delivering high-quality projects with focus on execution and investment objectives. His expertise and leadership have contributed significantly to the success of numerous multifamily developments in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona.

O’Neill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the University of Houston.
