Dan Loss joined The NRP Group in 2022 and now serves in the role of Project Operations Executive and Senior Director, where he oversees development operations for affordable, workforce, and market rate projects throughout the South and Central Texas regions.

In this role, Loss leads a team of Operations Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of multiple developments, guiding projects from conception through lease-up. He manages cross-functional teams within NRP as well as a large group of external consultants, ensuring seamless integration of all project elements—from due diligence to construction completion—while maximizing shareholder value, fostering local relationships, and driving operational excellence that aligns with NRP’s strategic objectives.

Prior to joining NRP, Loss worked as a land development project manager, facilitating the design and construction of multiple residential, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, and industrial developments throughout the West Coast.

Loss earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and California and currently serves as Committee Chair of ULI NEXT in Austin, TX. Outside of work, Loss enjoys being a father of four, playing and watching sports with his kids, and hobbies like mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying live music.
