Dan Brenner joined The NRP Group in 2018 and now serves as the Executive Vice President of Project Operations.

Project Operations is a department at NRP that began in 2025 and oversees end-to-end development delivery processes of NRP’s projects from due diligence to final delivery of completed apartment units. NRP’s Project Operations division facilitates the development of NRP’s projects through the use of regionally focused cross functional teams composed of members from various departments who leverage their diverse expertise to successfully execute the delivery of NRP’s multifamily development projects.

Prior to his current role, Brenner was Senior Vice President of Construction Administration and Deputy General Counsel. As Senior Vice President of Construction Administration, Brenner led NRP Construction’s business operations and administrative functions, managed cross-departmental initiatives, and oversaw the facilitation of NRP’s Supplier Diversity Program. As Deputy General Counsel, he counseled NRP’s construction teams on strategies for project execution, completion, dispute resolution and risk mitigation. He also worked closely with NRP’s construction and design departments in drafting, negotiating and enforcing construction agreements and managed a team of legal and administrative professionals.

Prior to joining NRP, Brenner was a partner at Laurie & Brennan in Chicago where he primarily focused on construction law. He represented owners, developers and contractors working on a variety of projects including sports stadiums, multifamily developments, hospitals, hotels and more. Brenner holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law. Dan is a proud father of three, serves as a board member for the Mandel Jewish Day School and Bellefaire JCB, and is actively involved in the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Bridge Builders leadership development program.
