Erika Roth joined The NRP Group in 2004 as a Senior Financial Analyst and now serves as Chief Accounting Officer.
In this role, she leads all accounting functions across the company and oversees three separate teams of accountants and financial analysts for NRP’s corporate entities, development and construction activities, and ongoing operations including leasing and occupancy. Her responsibilities include oversight and direction of all corporate accounting, reporting and financial analysis, accounting and analysis of construction projects across the country, and detailed oversight of all operational accounting activity. She is also responsible for aligning the accounting function with all other company departments based on each group’s specific needs and requirements.
During her 20-year tenure with The NRP Group, Roth has been instrumental in leading change throughout the company while assuming roles of increasing responsibility. Her efforts have helped to establish and automate critical operational tools including the NRP Project Progress Review report. This report fully analyzes each real estate development in great detail, from projected costs to projected rents, to return on investment and everything in between. In addition, she has automated the construction accounting process including contractor billing, the construction draw process and more. She has also developed quarterly project and corporate roll-up packages to guide executive decision-making, consistently taking the company’s financial data and reporting capabilities to the next level.
As a working mother, Roth is very active in her community. She volunteers for the local School District, coaches youth lacrosse and is actively involved in area fundraisers. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women and devotes significant time to mentoring and coaching young women as they explore various career interests. She has also volunteered at Cleveland’s inner city schools, speaking to high school students about the importance of education and career choices. Erika is also actively involved with Women in Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.
Roth earned her Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University and went on to earn a full academic scholarship to Cleveland State University, where she became a research assistant in the Finance/Operations Management Department and graduated with an MBA in accounting and finance.
