Rocio Marquez joined The NRP Group in 2015 and serves as Regional Vice President, overseeing NRP’s affordable housing portfolio across San Antonio, Las Vegas, and emerging Arizona markets.

In this role, she partners closely with development and construction teams to bring new deals to life and lead successful lease-ups, while collaborating with Regional Property Managers to ensure affordable compliance and strong performance across stabilized assets. Known for her collaborative approach, Rocio works alongside operational teams to evolve processes, develop on-the-ground talent, and introduce adaptable strategies that keep the organization modern and forward‑moving.

Rocio has advanced through the ranks at NRP, previously serving as District Manager, Regional Property Manager, and Senior Regional Property Manager, before being promoted to her current role in 2025. Her career in property management spans more than two decades, beginning at Willow Management, where she progressed from receptionist to Community Manager. She later held leadership roles with Milestone Management and spent eight years with the Cesar Chavez Foundation, supporting multiple sites and contributing to corporate reporting initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design and maintains several industry credentials, including Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), and Public Housing Manager (PHM). Rocio is also a Leadership Lyceum graduate through the San Antonio Apartment Association.

Highly engaged in the industry, Rocio is in her second year serving on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio Apartment Association, has twice served as Chair of the Community Initiatives Committee, and previously held the role of Vice Chair for the Public Relations Committee with the Texas Apartment Association.
