Ryan Moody joined NRP in 2012 and now serves as the Vice President of Creative Design and Operational Excellence, responsible for overseeing all programmatic, conceptual and aesthetic design qualities with a particular emphasis on architectural, interior and landscape design across NRP’s portfolio.

As part of the Center of Excellence team within Project Operations, Ryan helps spearhead design standards, specifications, development of new product lines, origination of product positioning, operational best practices, and strategic partnerships across the portfolio for both market rate and affordable projects. He also serves as a conduit for inter-organizational communication between the different arms of NRP in order to provide strategic feedback loops to improve quality control and streamline operations through standardized and aligned design practices.

In his tenure with NRP, Moody previously served as a Senior Design Manager, responsible for managing all vertical design aspects and coordination for affordable and market rate projects in the Texas portfolio. Prior to joining NRP, he was a Development Associate at Embrey Partners and an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where he provided real estate and asset management services for Department of Defense clients. During his career he has had a hand in the development of over 42,000 apartment units across the country.

Moody holds a Bachelor of Environment Design and a Masters in Land Development from Texas A&M University. He is a LEED Green Associate and a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas. In his spare time, he loves to collaborate on historic remodels with his wife, talk history, sketch, and travel with their three children.
