Terry Cowan joined The NRP Group in 2023 as Vice President of Business Development.

In this role, he is responsible for cultivating new business opportunities, enhancing current relationships, increasing our third-party footprint, and assisting our preconstruction department. Prior to joining NRP, Cowan worked with NRP for over 18 years as a subcontractor for plumbing and landscaping.

Cowan has deep experience with all types of multifamily construction including garden, wrap, podium, senior, and 32-story high rise. He grew his career with roles in client relations, sales, finance, planning, and project management. In his role as Director of Sales for Gibson Plumbing, he grew their multifamily projects 12x in seven years.

Cowan holds several industry certifications including a Plumbing Apprentice License, as a crane signalman and rigger, and as an insurance agent. He studied business marketing at Texas Tech University. He resides in Dallas with his wife and three children. He enjoys volunteering at his daughter’s elementary school, hunting, fishing, and travel.
