Tony Gonzalez serves as the Senior Vice President of Construction for NRP’s Texas markets.

In his role, Gonzalez oversees production, scheduling and quality control for all developments in Texas. He also works to develop and implement field construction staff policies and procedures. Since joining NRP in 2006, Gonzalez has served in many different roles and earned several promotions. In 2014, he was promoted to Project Manager of Field Operations. In this role, he completed several affordable and award-winning market rate developments and was then named Director of Operations in 2017. In 2018, he was again promoted to Vice President of Construction Operations in Texas until being named Senior Vice President of Construction in 2022. During his time at NRP, he has successfully completed over 50 class A developments across Texas.

Prior to joining NRP, Gonzalez worked for several years as a superintendent for Affordable Housing Corporation. He possesses a thorough knowledge of Type V and Type III construction. His experience includes a diverse portfolio including garden, wrap and podium style construction for tax credit, market rate and student housing developments. Gonzalez is an active committee member of NRP’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, as well as the Supplier Diversity Leadership Council. Outside of his role at NRP, Gonzalez is an active member of the Hispanic Contractors Association.
