Renaissance at Lincoln Park

The Renaissance is a 179-unit community at Lincoln Park in New Rochelle, NY, which incorporates a new 23,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Boys & Girls Club facility that will service over 3,500 children and teens. This is the fourth partnership NRP has done under the banner of our “Healthy Housing” initiative: a program designed to create partnerships with nonprofits and healthcare providers to build on affordable housing as a platform for improving a broader range of social determinants of health. The goal is to work together with these anchor institutions to create ever expanding pathways of opportunity for the residents and communities we serve.

The residential component of the building includes 179 apartment homes for residents earning 37% (12 homes), 47% (43 homes), 57% (94 homes), and 80% (30 homes) of the area median income. The affordable multifamily community also features on‐site laundry facilities, a lounge/game room, fitness center, bike room and direct access to the adjacent Lincoln Park and a new, state‐of‐the‐art Boys & Girls Club.

The park and club serve as extended amenities for the residential tenants, with areas for outdoor seating, open space and swimming along with programming for residents. Situated adjacent to the 0007 New Rochelle bus line, residents are connected to downtown New Rochelle and the Metro North Station, which offers access to Grand Central Station in Midtown Manhattan in under an hour. The Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital is 0.6 miles away, offering both employment opportunities and convenient healthcare access to residents of this community.

This new community development is an exciting step forward for New Rochelle, offering affordable high-quality housing, coupled with the most significant new youth services facility in generations. I am grateful for the public-private partnership that is bringing this positive vision to life.
